Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out With New Summer Mural

Summer is in full swing and UTC is channeling those sunshine vibes with a bright and cheerful new mural in the West District at UTC. To share the “Sunshine State of Mind,” we partnered with local artist Cheryl Weber to hand-paint this Florida-inspired design on our ever-changing public art space.

About the Artist

Cheryl Weber, aka JUJMO, is a Filipino-American artist from the Tampa Bay area. Heavily influenced by anime and folklore, she is best known for her signature vibrant color schemes and imaginative characters.

After graduating from the University of South Florida with her bachelor’s in fine art, she immediately began working as a freelance artist. Her distinctive style can now be seen throughout Tampa Bay on various buildings, beer cans, helmets, tote bags and even cars. Find Cheryl on social media, creating beauty all over the Sunshine State.
