Celebrate the spirit of love and inclusiveness during Pride Month at UTC. We are proud to team up with Project Pride to recognize and honor the LGBTQ+ community throughout the month of June.

Pride Events:

Drag Bingo with Beneva Fruitville – Thursday, June 2 | 7-9 pm

Join us for an evening of entertainment and number-calling fun with local drag legend Beneva Fruitville!

*This event is rated PG-13 and may not be appropriate for kids and some adults.

UTC FIT – Zumba Pride Party – Wednesday, June 8 | 5:30-6:30 pm

Wear your most colorful workout gear and meet us on The Green for a Pride-themed UTC FIT class featuring a fun and energetic Zumba workout with instructor Yael Campbell.

Loud & Proud Dance Party – Thursday, June 9 | 8-10 pm

Strut your stuff and show off your pride at the Loud & Proud Dance Party featuring DJ Brianna Lee.

UTC Night Market – Thursday, June 16 | 5-9 pm

This month’s night market event will be bigger and brighter than ever before! Explore over 40 LGBTQ+ and local vendors, while listening to live music by the Moxy Stardust Band and enjoying rainbow-themed sweets and treats. Joining us onsite with resources and giveaways will be Project Pride SRQ, Venice Pride, ALSO Youth and the Fabulous Arts Foundation.

Pride Picnic – Thursday, June 30 | 6-8 pm

UTC is closing out Pride Month with a community picnic on The Green. Families and friends are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy live music by Matthew Ragas Band, food trucks, entertainment, games and more. The first 200 guests will receive a complimentary slice of the legendary Rainbow Cake from Carlo’s Bakery.

Many shops and restaurants at UTC are also celebrating Pride Month with exclusive collections and especially sweet treats. Just a few include:

Shake Shack

Sip and support The Trevor Project all month long with this year’s shake trio, featuring Sprinkle Cookie Shake, Chocolate Churro Shake and Oreo Funnel Cake Shake. 3% of shake sales will benefit the important suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ youth. If that doesn’t show Shake Shack’s unshakeable pride, they are also offering a free order of fries with purchase (in-store only) all month long as part of Taste of Pride.

Board and Brush

Get your paintbrushes ready to make your own personalized wood sign at Board and Brush Creative Studio. The new studio is showing their love with $10 off a pick-your-project workshop and a free PRIDE-themed bonus sign.

Crop Juice

Treat yourself to a free pack of classic crop bites with $20 purchase. Also, don’t miss the PRIDE donut of the day on June 16, featuring a lemon donut dipped in fresh strawberry glaze and topped with dye-free rainbow sprinkles.
