Ushering in New Year with New Mural

2024 brings hope, change … and a vibrant new mural at our rotating art space! Painted by Tampa Bay artist Leo Gomez, this new art piece is bursting with color, emotion and positivity. The “You Warm My Heart” theme – written in English and Spanish – serves as a heartwarming message to all of the friends and families who visit UTC. Stroll through the West District, near Blaze Pizza and JPAN Sushi & Grill, and view this beautiful love letter to the community on display now through March. About the Artist

Leo Gomez is a St. Pete-based artist who specializes in murals, sign painting and hand lettering. His work is one-of-a-kind and combines hand-drawn typography, bright color palettes and positive messages. Leo takes every opportunity that comes his way to create meaningful, memorable and highly engaging work. His murals and handmade signs transform spaces into colorful and inspiring environments.

Leo has dedicated his life to the art of hand lettering and since opening the Leo Gomez Studio in 2017, he has worked with hundreds of clients and brands. Leo’s work has been selected for mural festivals, public art projects and beautification projects throughout Tampa Bay and beyond.
