New Mural in Bloom

Spring is here and we’re celebrating the season of new beginnings with a new mural on our rotating art space in the West District at UTC! Hand-painted by Central Florida-based artist Gillian Fazio, the mural is the perfect representation of spring with its bright and beautiful florals and fluttering butterflies.

About the Artist

Gillian Fazio is a Central Florida-based artist, muralist and creative. She discovered her gravitational pull toward painting as soon as she could hold a brush and has been slinging paint ever since. In 2017, she graduated from University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in fine art and began painting on anything she could, from large-scale canvases to massive murals.

Gillian is inspired by natural elements that serve a function and purpose, combined with purely aesthetic patterns. Her process incorporates photographic reference imagery rendered through richly saturated hues and whimsical compositions. She describes her work as “new age flora and fauna.”

Turning inspirations into a business, Gillian now travels all over painting murals that are engaging, colorful and uplifting. Find Gillian on social media, painting with all the colors of the wind.
