The vibrant artwork captures the essence of nature’s abundance, with colors that represent the warmth and richness of autumn. The design is also a subtle homage to farm-to-table restaurant Naked Farmer, the newest eatery to open at UTC.

MEET THE MURALIST:
Gabriela Jaxon is a Peruvian-born, multidisciplinary artist and Meta-sponsored creator. Specializing in murals, fine art, 3D sculptures and creative workshops, her work bridges cultural heritage and community engagement.
Gabriela has collaborated with city governments, nonprofits and brands nationwide to create impactful public art that fosters inclusion and dialogue. Notably, she served as a panelist at the Sephora x Meta 2024 Beauty Summit at Meta HQ in Los Angeles, where she shared her insights into her Latinx heritage and discussed the role of art in celebrating cultural diversity. A first-generation college graduate, she holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and psychology with a focus on art therapy, graduating magna cum laude from Florida Southern College.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Gabriela is deeply committed to community service and art therapy. She has volunteered as a Spanish-speaking interpreter at immigration clinics, a migrant teacher advocate at Florida Polytechnic University, and an arts in medicine volunteer at Moffitt Cancer Center, using her skills to support underserved communities and promote healing through art. Dedicated to using her artistic and leadership skills to uplift communities, Gabriela is committed to creating meaningful art that resonates and empowers.
